Role Overview

Wrab Tech is seeking a Systems and QA Lead to support the quality, reliability, validation, and performance of Wrab Tech's software products, including TruckMind, Custiq, and related software platforms. The Systems and QA Lead will be responsible for analyzing software requirements, designing and executing test strategies, validating integrated systems, identifying defects, documenting quality issues, and working with software developers and product teams to improve application functionality and reliability.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of software quality assurance, systems analysis, software testing, test design, database systems, API integration testing, defect analysis, and software development lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze software requirements, business workflows, and system specifications to develop test strategies, validation criteria, and quality assurance plans.
  • Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and user-acceptance test plans.
  • Test software products including TruckMind, Custiq, and related internal or client-facing applications.
  • Evaluate software modules, APIs, databases, and interconnected applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, data-integrity issues, and performance problems.
  • Develop manual and automated testing procedures, test scripts, test cases, and validation frameworks.
  • Analyze test results, document defects, prioritize issues, and collaborate with software developers and product teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Conduct end-to-end validation of integrated software systems to ensure accurate data exchange and operational consistency across product modules.
  • Validate workflows across dispatch, safety, compliance, document management, customer-management, CRM, and back-office modules.
  • Monitor production and staging environments, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and user experience.
  • Prepare technical documentation, testing reports, validation records, quality metrics, and software release recommendations.
  • Provide guidance to junior QA personnel regarding testing methodologies, validation processes, and quality assurance best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a closely related technical field.
  • Experience in software quality assurance, software testing, systems analysis, software validation, or related technical work.
  • Knowledge of functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, system testing, and user-acceptance testing.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to analyze software requirements and translate business workflows into test plans and validation criteria.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects.
  • Working knowledge of databases, APIs, software modules, and interconnected application behavior.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with software developers, product teams, and leadership to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Sciences, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with SaaS products, CRM systems, Transportation Management Systems, logistics software, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience testing API-based systems, database-backed applications, and integrated software platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, C, C++, VB.NET, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing, test-case management, defect tracking systems, technical documentation, and release validation.
  • Experience supporting AI-enabled workflows, enterprise software applications, or compliance-focused software systems.

This is a full-time, in-house position based at Wrab Tech's office located at 17908 Murphy Pkwy, Lathrop, CA 95330. The Systems and QA Lead will report directly to company leadership and will work closely with engineering, product, and software development teams.
